Lazy Sunday

Today we decided to take it easy (or at least easier) since we’d had such a busy schedule yesterday. We went over to see Herrod's store, a really large shopping centre. It wasn’t open, but it was more to see it than to go shopping (we didn’t want to spend money anyways, the pound is nearly 2x the $). After that, we walked through Hyde park, where they’re setting up a large venue for concerts during the Olympics. Hyde park is very nice, but there are hardly any benches. I guess you would have to sit in the grass or pay to sit on a lawn chair near the lake. At the other end of the park, we saw the Marble Arch. Then we headed down to the Beatles store as our bus stop was in the vicinity and we caught the bus after we had a nice lunch. We caught just the right bus, with a very nice bus driver. Apparently we were supposed to print our tickets for the bus, but we had no way of doing that. He decided not to charge us for doing that, which was very kind of him. We got to the airport with plenty of time, blew through security and flew back to Dublin. While we were flying over the clouds, the light bent just exactly over the plane so that a rainbow encircled our shadow. It was really awesome! Unfortunately, I didn’t get to my camera quick enough. Coming in to Dublin from the east, we flew over Howth and it’s simply amazing that Kelsey and I hiked around that!! Wow! haha kind of crazy.
